The newest season of Vanderpump Rules has started

I previously wrote that Vanderpump Rules the reality series is by far the most dramatic, and I still stand by that; I have genuinely been looking forward to the eleventh season. And now that has finally started, this is going to be a treat with a capital T. Over the years, I have watched all ten seasons myself, but if you don't have the time or inclination for that; starting with season 9 or 10 is also fine, because that's where The Biggest Drama begins.

A brief introduction: Vanderpump Rules initially revolved around the restaurants of Lisa Vanderpump (yes, the one from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) and mainly about the staff working there. There was always something going on among them: relationships, cheating, arguments; all the ingredients for a juicy reality series were present.

But Vanderpump Rules became a huge success and as a result, that staff became increasingly famous; eventually, they didn't even need the job of bartender or hostess to make ends meet. They are now among the biggest reality stars in America and are not inferior to The Real Housewives. Except that in the previous season, the tenth, something went completely wrong. Unfortunate for them, great for the viewers.

The couple of the series, Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, broke up. The reason: Tom had an affair with Ariana's best friend, namely Rachel (who was still called Raquel at the time) Leviss, who was also featured in the series. And that really caused complete chaos; mayhem at Vanderpump Rules.

That all happened in the tenth season and it is really recommended to watch it back, but the eleventh season is going to be at least just as fun: Tom is still being ostracized by the group and has hardly any income due to his damaged image, while Ariana has suddenly become a celeb and gets to participate in shows like Dancing With The Stars. I really can't wait for that first encounter between those two on screen.

So if you love reality and love drama but not in the manufactured way like Echte Meisjes in de Jungle, you are going to enjoy this a lot.
