Bet you no one recognizes him?

Christmas dress

Is your express delivery not as ‘express’ as promised, or is that timely delivered party dress disappointing? What-to-wear stress during Christmas is unnecessary; you already have it at home. In fact, you wore it at exactly the same time last year. And don’t drop out immediately, because I promise you: absolutely no one will find out. How do you wear your Christmas dress from last year like new again? Together with an army of fashion people, I will show you. I’m definitely going for the skirt transformation tomorrow night. Don’t tell anyone, okay?

Transform your dress into a skirt

An old-time favorite: go for a festive top over your dress and create the perfect skirt. Choose a tacky Christmas sweater or go all out with a glitter top or oversized blazer.

Go for an extra layer

Is your Christmas dress from last year a sleeveless model? Then wear a nice, fitted turtleneck in the same color underneath or create an extra festive touch by wearing a transparent top over it. It might sound a bit weird, but it really looks great (promise!).

From mini to maxi

Wear a midi or maxi skirt over your Christmas dress. Think of a knee-length pleated, bell, or for example a maxi tulle skirt. No one will see that the perfectly fitting top is that dress from last year.

Backwards

Do you have a dress with a deep V-neck? Try wearing it backwards. This way, you easily transform your dress into a beautiful party dress with a stylish open-back detail. Or maybe the other way around: for example, with a dress that has a bow closure at the back, creating a stylish statement with that same bow at the front (around the neck).

Or create a tunic by wearing fancy pants under your minidress

In other words, the #1 trend among fashion people: wearing pants under your dress. It might take some getting used to... But for those who dare, it’s the perfect mix of cool and chic.
