How ‘the brand with the three stripes’ does it, we don't know, but over the past two years, every Originals Adidas launched have instantly become it-sneakers. So next stop: the BW Army Trainer. And if you feel like you already know this shoe, you certainly do. For instance, many are already calling this trainer the affordable version of a pair of Maison Margiela's because of the same sophisticated design they have. But a copycat it certainly isn't; rather the other way around. In fact, the BW Army trainer goes way back in time, towards the 1970s, when the first design was made especially for the German army. In both the ’80s and ’90s, Adidas released another version, both of which became an instant hit. So now, 34 years later, the BW Army is here again and once again to heartbreak.
