Virgin River season 6 is really coming now
And we already know this
I was very happy with this news. Almost a year after the last episode, Netflix finally announces the release date of the sixth season of Virgin River. And it's earlier than expected. Not in 2025, but from December 19 we can enjoy everything that happens in our favorite fictional village again. With the first images, speculation can begin.
Mel and Jack
Season 5 left us with a lot of questions. Because, how does everyone pick up life again after that forest fire? Fortunately, showrunner Patrick Sean Smith is already revealing some details about how things will continue. The stories will be a bit lighter than the last few episodes, but that's okay. We can at least look forward to plenty of love and secrets again. What we do know is that Mel and Jack are getting married and we will see all the preparations. Despite the traumatic miscarriage, they have not completely given up on their wish for a child. After buying Lily's farm, they will rebuild everything there. Mel will also be busy getting to know her father. For this, we make a small detour to Virgin River in the 1970s, where we meet her parents in their younger years.
So many questions
The other characters also have a lot waiting for them. For example, how will Doc's health be now that he is participating in a clinical trial? How is Lizzy doing in her role as chief of staff of the village and with her pregnancy? And what happens to Preacher now that the police know he killed Wes? I could go on like this for a while. For answers to all these questions, we still need to be patient for a little while, but according to Smith, all of this will return in the new season.
There will be a total of 10 episodes and they will all be released at once on Netflix. Fortunately, we don't have to wait again to binge everything. There is not yet a trailer, but there are the very first photos. Let the countdown begin.
