This makes Princess Kate a real queen

Royals are generally not top of mind for me. I don't follow them on Instagram, and as for the travel and study plans of the princesses, I think they should just do what they feel like. They are just young girls who still have to figure out life. Yet there is one princess for whom I have a bit of a soft spot. Because if anyone radiates ‘royal’, it's Kate. Despite the fact that she wasn't born with blue blood, I see her as the perfect example of what a future queen should be.
We have known since January that the past few months have been anything but easy for her, when she had to undergo surgery. During that procedure, cancer was discovered, and since then she has been receiving intensive treatment. For months she has been undergoing chemotherapy and (as she mentioned today) there are still a few months of chemo ahead. The fact that she sits so radiantly in a carriage today despite that heavy treatment is something you can only find very impressive and strong.
Her beautiful smile does not reveal what she is currently going through; she genuinely seems to enjoy her public ‘outing’, together with her extremely cute children and of course her husband William. The occasion is the military parade at ‘Trooping the Colour’. She does honestly say that on most days she feels really awful, but on the days she does feel good, she wants to enjoy it to the fullest. Maybe that's also what you see radiating in her smile.
