This series is getting its own podcast

Suits fans, pay attention! Five years after the last season, the series is getting a second life in the form of a podcast. Actors Patrick J. Adams (Mike Ross) and Sarah Rafferty (Donna Paulson) will take us into the world of the legal drama and everything that happened behind the scenes.
Just a little recap. In ‘Suits’, we follow Mike Ross, a college drop-out who actually wanted to become a lawyer but got expelled. The special thing about him is that he has a photographic memory. Read a book once and he can repeat it word for word. When Mike, with a bag full of weed, is fleeing from the police, he accidentally runs into Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht). Harvey is one of the best lawyers in New York and is looking for a law intern. Mike may have never completed a law degree, but he knows all the legal codes by heart, and Harvey is impressed and hires him. They will have to keep his non-existent diploma a secret. For 9 seasons, we enjoyed all their legal cases and all the problems within the law firm. Other characters included Harvey's assistant Donna and paralegal Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle).
In 2019, the show ended. However, there were constant questions about new episodes or a possible spin-off. That is not happening, at least for now. But there is a podcast. In ‘Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast’, Adams and Rafferty will watch and discuss all the episodes of the series. They will especially share how it was to make the episodes and share behind-the-scenes stories. That's not all; other cast members will also join for an interview. The chance that we will hear Meghan Markle is small. She left the series in season 7 due to her relationship with Prince Harry. Since then, she has said nothing more about the series, although the cast was present at her wedding. Who we can expect is Gina Torres. She played the role of Jessica Pearson, the boss of the firm. Fans can also submit questions that the actors will answer in their podcast.
If we are to believe Adams and Rafferty, the podcast is also fun for those who haven't seen the show yet. The actors may have played in the episodes, but they have never seen the whole thing and will go through it in their podcast, together with the fans. While they relive what their characters have experienced, they share all the ins and outs that we want to know. For those who want to (re)watch ‘Suits’, all episodes can be found on Netflix. ‘Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast’ will be available from September 24 via podcast apps like Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
