These vegetables can be used as a makeup tool

Broccoli vegetable makeup tool

Broccoli is suddenly taking on a whole new function these days. Besides being a superfood, you can also use this vegetable as a makeup tool. It is used like a brush to create fake freckles on your face. How easy and simple do you want it to be? I saw this with fashion guru Danielle Bernstein from the Insta account @weworewhat and I think it's brilliantly conceived. The result is amazing. How does it work? You cut a small piece of broccoli from the stalk, clean it well with water, and apply the dark green ends with a liquid, cream-like bronzer, then gently dab it on your face. Voilà, you suddenly have very natural freckles. To see the result beforehand before applying it to your face, you could dab it on the top of your hand first. If the broccoli stalk gives a slightly less attractive result, you can always cut off a new stalk. I think this is really genius.

Broccoli is not the only vegetable that does surprisingly well in the beauty industry; beetroot is also very hot these days. You can use a fresh beetroot to give your lips and cheeks a nice red/pink color. All you have to do is cut the vegetable, which is full of vitamin C and proteins, in half and gently rub the juicy side over your cheeks or lips. Do you find that a bit exciting? Then slowly rub your fingers over the beet and apply it from your fingertips to the area where you want it. The strong pigments that the beet contains are almost as good as a blush you shop for in the store. Ideal, right?
