Winter Arc is the most positive TikTok trend

My social media algorithm consists of 75% books, coffee, planners, and tidying up. It's a delightful algorithm to be in, to be honest. It brings peace, positivity, and I always have inspiration for which books I still want to read. With planning as part of my daily influence consumption, I couldn't possibly miss the latest TikTok trend: Winter Arc focuses on setting goals for this winter. It's about trying to learn as many new habits as possible in the winter, leaving bad ones behind, and setting goals that you can still achieve before the new year begins.
The idea of Winter Arc is as refreshing as the term
Whether it's about exercising, planning, studying, working, or having a financial goal in life; Winter Arc ensures that you have a clear focus, so you enter the new year with those new, good qualities. Although Winter Arc officially runs from October to the end of December, it's never too late to start. Winter Arc lasts for 92 days, but learning new habits takes an average of 66 days. Totally achievable!
Really fun idea, but how are we going to do this?
Don't make it too difficult for yourself. Take a good look at which aspects of your life you want to improve. Do you want to focus more on your health? Then it's good to set various small goals for that. Make it achievable, but do challenge yourself. You can think of: walking at least 10,000 steps every day, biking to work every day, or spending at least half an hour in the gym twice a week. Bigger goals are allowed, but if you already know from the start that you won't be able to maintain this in the first week, then it doesn't make sense. It doesn't all have to be about health and fitness. Do you notice that you often fall behind in planning, or that you have too little me-time besides all the work and social appointments? Then it's also useful to critically look at the improvements you can make for yourself there. You can think of scheduling at least one free evening per week, or checking your agenda every Sunday afternoon to see if your planning for the upcoming week is feasible, or if any gifts need to be bought, and so on. The goal is not to wake up on January 1st as a new person, but to wake up on January 1st feeling like you're going to start the new year as strong as possible, all thanks to the good resolutions you implemented in your daily life at the end of last year.
