Breaking news: Zara launches basic hair products and they are everything you want

Did you know that Zara launched its very first perfume line almost twenty years ago? And that they only expanded their beauty collection with makeup in 2021 (also for kids), even more perfume and of course last year a special edition Zara ‘Glitter in Gold’ hair collection in the coolest golden packaging? And now, drumroll, there is big news, because yesterday a package was suddenly delivered to the editorial office from Zara containing not one, not two, but six (!) items that belong to the brand new Zara Hair EVERYDAY BASICS collection in collaboration with the mega-famous hair stylist Guido Palau. He is one of the most sought-after hairdressers and has worked with the likes of Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and name any big name and he has worked with them. Zara specifically wanted to release this collection with him and I think it turned out really well.

The collection consists of six different basic must-have products with which you can create most styles: the Volumizing Mousse, Blow Dry Spray, Light Hair Balm, Curl Activator, Hair Spray (hairspray), and the Dry Texturizing Spray. I sprayed the latter in my hair this morning and I am very surprised by the subtle, beautiful, voluminous result. My hair still feels airy and soft. With some texturizing sprays, you get the feeling that there are immediately a thousand tangles and knots in your hair due to the heavy substance used to create volume, but that is not the case with this one. It even reminds me of Meghan Markle's favorite texture spray, from the beautiful brand Oribe. The scent of the products is very subtle and developed by the famous French perfumer Jérôme Epinette (who collaborated with, among others, Byredo); definitely a recommendation. On Zara's TikTok account, they announce that the collection will be available from March 4th and you mainly see atmospheric images of the colorful packaging designed by designers Baron & Baron.
