7 questions everyone has after watching Ginny and Georgia

The third season of Ginny & Georgia is one that you can binge in a few days (okay, nights) binget. But as soon as the last episode is over and the credits roll, one thing lingers: HUH?! Because wow, there are so many questions. Big questions. Burning questions. Questions you know your bestie has too. And because we’re obviously not going to give any spoilers (pinkypromise), here are 7 questions everyone has after watching Ginny & Georgia season 3.

1. Does Ginny become as manipulative as Georgia?

We love Ginny. Really. But let’s be honest: she’s starting to show more and more traits of her mother. That confidence, that strategy – and let’s not forget her role in that one court case (no spoilers, but you know what we’re talking about). Fans are wondering en masse if Ginny is slowly turning into a mini-Georgia. Is it power? Is it trauma? Or just hereditary? Hmmmm.

2. Ginny’s hair: wig or pure curl?

Okay, confession time: we’ve all thought at least once: Is that her real hair? The answer: yes… and no. Ginny’s hair – or rather, actress Antonia Gentry’s – has its own storyline that’s almost as interesting as the series itself.

In season 1, we saw Antonia’s own curls, beautiful and pure. Only: that hair was regularly styled with heat for certain scenes, which over time is just not good for curly hair (trust us, the curly girls know this).

For season 2, the crew decided to take a different approach: lace wigs. Why? To protect her natural hair and prevent it from getting damaged. Smart, but it also led to mixed reviews – some fans noticed that the wigs didn’t always fit tightly.

In season 3, they went for a better middle ground: no more heat, but extensions. The styling was meant to make her curls shine as much as possible, without damaging the hair. Healthy hair journey, much? We’re fans.

3. What is the relationship like between the lead actresses?

They play mother and daughter – but what’s it like when the camera is off? Antonia Gentry (Ginny) and Brianne Howey (Georgia) are anything but drama queens in real life.

They call each other “sisters,” laugh their heads off between takes, and have a bond full of trust and respect. Antonia even calls Brianne her big sister, and Brianne says their click was good from day one. No act, but real chemistry – and you feel that in every scene.

4. Will there be another season of Ginny & Georgia?

YES! Netflix has officially confirmed that season 4 is coming – praise be. So more drama, secrets, love, mothers with a past, and teenagers with issues (and cheekbones). When exactly? That remains a bit mysterious, but the writers are already busy penning it. We’re already sitting with our popcorn ready and the group chat open for all new theories. Read here everything we can expect in season 4.

5. Is it normal that I suddenly have sympathy for Georgia?

She’s manipulative, mysterious, and often leaves a mess behind. And yet after season 3, you suddenly think: maybe she’s doing it all with the best intentions – and you even find her a bit pitiful. Why do you suddenly empathize with the ‘villain’? Because good series confuse your head and heart. You see their pain, reasons, and traumas, and suddenly you understand why they do what they do (even if you would never dare to).

6. Why does Ginny sometimes seem older than Georgia?

Hmmm, yes, maybe not on the outside, but definitely on the inside: It’s a thought that probably creeps up on you halfway through season 3. While Georgia is busy spinning webs, smoothing out dramas (or causing them), Ginny stands there – with her empathy and endless attempts to do the right thing. She looks beyond the moment and seeks stability. And thus, their mother-daughter relationship takes on an almost reversed dynamic. Because where Georgia is impulsive and erratic, Ginny tries to understand and connect (a job for a mom? yes, secretly it is).

7. Are Ginny and Georgia in real life also so romantic… or is it totally different?

Spoiler alert (kinda): in real life it’s love without murder plots or hidden agendas (hallelujah). Brianne Howey (Georgia) is happily married to lawyer Matt Ziering and even became a mother in 2023 – from badass crime mama to real mama, love it. Antonia Gentry (Ginny), on the other hand, has been single since her breakup in 2023. No secret romance with Marcus (sorry, shippers), but just an independent queen. So yes, much less drama – but just as fun.
