All healthy girlies pay attention! Craving something tasty, but don’t want to dive straight into a roll of Oreos or inhale a croissant like you live in Paris? Girl, I got you. Here are 10 healthy snacks that are not only healthy but also so delicious that you almost forget you’re eating something nutritious. They are quick, creative, and you don’t even have to be a half kitchen princess, because I kept the recipes easy peasy. These are the top 10 best snacks for when you’re craving something tasty.

1. Banana with peanut butter? perfect combo

First up: A classic. Spread a slice of freshly toasted whole grain bread with a thick layer of peanut butter (the 100% variant, you know, no frills), add banana slices on top, and then… a generous sprinkle of cinnamon. Warm, filling, and it feels like breakfast on a lazy Sunday. Pro-tip: also delicious with a pinch of sea salt. This snack is perfect for when you need an energy boost without feeling full, and ideal for those moments when you hit a slump in the afternoon. This snack is the perfect balance of complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, and proteins.

2. Healthy pizzas

Mini pizzas are truly the guilty pleasure of every woman, or well… actually just of everyone. This time not with a dough base, no. Cut a cucumber into 3 parts, slice the parts in half lengthwise. Spread hummus on it (with sun-dried tomatoes, if you want to go all out) and top with pieces of olive, feta, and some sesame seeds. Fresh, salty, crunchy. Everything you want from a healthy snack.

3. Healthy yogurt bites

MY FAVE: Make your own little frozen snacks by spreading some Greek yogurt on a piece of baking paper. If you have a sweet tooth, mix some honey into the yogurt beforehand. Top with fresh fruit, muesli, and dark chocolate shavings. After a few hours in the freezer, you have delicious refreshing snacks that tame your sweet cravings without catapulting you into a sugar coma (relatable). Here’s another variant of this snack.

4. The best healthy fries

Yes, you read that right, believe me: if you know this recipe, you won’t be able to stop eating. Cut carrots into fry shapes, toss with olive oil, paprika powder, a pinch of salt, and throw them in the oven for 25 minutes at 200 degrees. While they’re in the oven, make a yogurt-garlic sauce. Mix Greek yogurt with pressed garlic, a bit of lemon juice, olive oil, and salt and pepper for the sauce. Trust me, you can keep eating these without guilt.

5. Fave snack: Snicker-dupe

This one is for my gym girls and chocolate lovers: cut a few dates open, remove the pit, and fill them with a generous spoonful of peanut butter or almond butter (whatever you like). Chop dark chocolate into rough pieces and place them on the date. Top it off with a handful of chopped nuts for that crunchy bite (I mean it, this really completes the snack). For the caramel-like texture, top the dates with honey.

Coming back from a workout and walking down the stairs with shaky legs? Then this is THE snack you should indulge in. 3 or 4 of these dates are just enough to satisfy that hunger without feeling like you’re immediately landing in a food coma. My tip? Prep them and store them in a well-sealed container in the fridge, now you can enjoy them every time you’re hungry. snicker-dupe.

6. Egg muffins? Healthy and tasty

Sounds very chef-like, but it’s not (trust me). Beat 4 eggs, mix in spinach, tomato, feta, or whatever you have in your fridge. Pour into a muffin tin, bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees and bam: you have protein-packed snacks to go. Also tasty cold, so perfect for prepping and taking to work. 9. Cottage cheese snack

Might sound boring, but trust me, it really isn’t. In just 5 minutes you have the best snack ready and this combination is deadly delicious. Place cottage cheese on a plate and top with pieces of juicy pear or peach, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a drizzle of honey and done! Bonus: you get a hefty dose of vitamin B12 and calcium, and a spoonful of cottage cheese is packed with protein (about 7 grams per tablespoon!). Perfect for those moments when you want to satisfy both your sweet cravings and your protein needs. After this snack, you won’t feel the need to stuff yourself with chips, candy, and cookies.
