This is Lauren Sanchez: the new Mrs Bezos

One of these days it will happen; Jeff Bezos is marrying his Lauren Sanchez. They have been together for a number of years now, and Jeff Bezos's lawyers have been working on the marriage contract for months so that Bezos - one of the richest men on earth - does not have to give away 40 billion to his wife when they get divorced. That has happened to him before, namely.
Marriage in Venice causes uproar
The wedding (here you read how expensive it all will be) takes place in Venice. Something the Venetians are not at all happy about, by the way. They feel that Bezos and Sanchez are treating their city like an amusement park and that they think everything is for sale. The whole city is filled with protest banners and all the canals are filled with boats as much as possible so that the water taxis that will transport Bezos and Sanchez's guests from A to B cannot get through. That Jeff Bezos donated a million to the city is a small band-aid for a much too large wound.
But there will be a wedding and not with the least. Because Lauren Sanchez is not a typical trophy wife who fills her days with hair appointments and manicures.

Who is Lauren Sanchez?
Well, the fiancée of Jeff Bezos. And no, that is certainly not her first love. Lauren Sanchez is now 55 and already has three adult children. Her oldest son, Nikko, she has from a relationship with Tony Gonzalez, a National Football League player, and with Patrick Whitesell, a Hollywood agent with whom she was married for 14 years, she has son Evan and daughter Ella. Together with Jeff Bezos's four children, it is quite a lively gathering there on Saturday night. “You never know which way the conversations will go with so many kids together,” she said in an interview with ELLE magazine.
What does Lauren Sanchez do for work?
Well, all sorts of things. She studied various subjects including acting and speech and eventually discovered that she suffered from dyslexia. That explained her erratic scoring pattern and helped her in recognizing and explaining the things she was less good at. Ultimately, her path turned out to be mainly presenting both entertainment and sports news as well as real news. At the age of forty, she was ready for a new adventure and obtained her pilot's license as a helicopter pilot. Her two passions came together when she founded Black Ops Aviation; a company that provides aerial photography and production for film and television.

Interesting fact: children's book and space flight
Lauren once wrote a children's book, The Fly Who Flew to Space, for which she drew inspiration from her own struggles with dyslexia and she wants to encourage everyone to literally try to reach for the stars. A funny detail is that the fly in her book ends up in a rocket and flies into space. When she wrote that, she had no idea that Sanchez herself would later be one of the women on the first all-female space flight.
Family feud with her brother Michael Sanchez
No wedding without a little drama or family feud, so here too. Lauren Sanchez's brother, Michael, allegedly leaked to the tabloids that Jeff and Lauren had been in a relationship for much longer than they led the press to believe. Bezos divorced his wife in 2019 but apparently had already been in a relationship with Lauren Sanchez. And in exchange for a deposit of 200,000 $, Michael was not too shy to leak some personal pictures and other evidence of his sister with his wealthy soon-to-be brother-in-law to the National Enquirer. And thus to tell that the relationship had started a year before the divorce. Not very nice, and not very smart because I suspect that Jeff Bezos would have given him that too if he had just asked for it. 200,000 dollars, that is what Jeff Bezos earns in a breath. I did some investigation and at least see that Lauren does not follow Michael Sanchez on her Instagram so I fear that he will not be at the Venetian party.
