Yes yes, people: Katy is living her teenage dream, because after a lot of rumors and a dinner, she has been ‘caught’ again with her new flame: the former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau. And not just casually – they were seen kissing on a yacht.

After all that speculation, it’s certain: the two are a couple. In ‘deepest secrecy’, they were on Katy’s yacht off the coast of California. And well, they certainly didn’t expect anyone to see them. They weren’t posing by the Golden Gate Bridge, but were quietly drifting around – far away from all the people. They are clearly not shouting their relationship from the rooftops.

Yet they were caught. By tourists, no less. During a whale watching tour, a group of people suddenly spotted something very different from a whale: Katy and Justin, cuddling and kissing, right on the deck of the boat. Not really top secret, of course, but this was probably not the plan – I guess. One of the tourists recognized the tattoo on Justin’s arm, and then it was on. The photos that followed leaked out to The Daily Mail, and the rest is history.

How did these two get together?

Just a recap. Three months ago, the singer and the former Prime Minister were first seen together in Montreal. That dinner was the first spark that ignited the rumors. A few days later, Justin showed up at Katy’s concert, and not long after, they were – according to TMZ – seen entering a bar together after a walk. Sounds like a couple of great date nights, right?

Dating history

Justin and Katy both have a history of long relationships. Katy announced in July that she and Orlando Bloom – after seven years – have split up. They have a five-year-old daughter together, Daisy Dove. So, it’s going, eh… quite fast.

Justin was even previously married. His divorce was finalized in August 2023. He has three children: two sons (11 and 18) and a 16-year-old daughter.
