This is the most beautiful blush for autumn and it is almost sold out

Everyone who knows me from my high school days knows that for a year I really loved wearing burgundy lipstick every day (Diva from M.A.C Cosmetics) with exactly that color lip liner. By the way, my wardrobe was also half burgundy, that color was just totally my thing. And still is, but not on my lips anymore. In fact: I haven't made my lips that dark in at least 15 years. I now first apply a small layer of concealer (that new one from Kess with SPF20 is now my favorite in my bag) and then my Rhode, Clarins, or Kiko gloss on top. Soft pink, subtle and neutral, that's it for me.

But I have found my love for burgundy again, and this time on my face, namely the blush Film Noir from M.A.C Cosmetics. So intensely beautiful. In the packaging, you see the most beautiful burgundy color, exactly how I would want to see it. Once applied to your face, it is very subtle, warm, and almost a combination of blush and bronzer in one. It gives just that extra dimension that is so beautiful during these cold days, without being too much.
Why am I a fan of Film Noir?
The nice thing about this blush is that it has a neutral undertone, which means it doesn't become too bright or too cool, but stays warm and natural. It really works well with different skin tones, from light to medium skin color. And the best part? You can Film Noir use it both on your cheeks and along your jawline for some extra contour and of course also on your eyes. Apply it subtly on your lips as well, with some gloss, and you have a beautiful look.
A handy tip: apply it, like actually everything, subtly with a fluffy brush, like the one from Hourglass, or this one from M.A.C Cosmetics or Real Techniques. If you want a bit more pigment, just apply it in multiple layers for a more intense color.

And for those who are still unsure about this burgundy color on the face: just try it. It's really not as intense as it looks in the packaging. Even if you have a lighter skin tone, the blush gives a lovely warm glow without being too harsh. Just check the video below.
