Meghan Markle returns to Netflix

As a big fan of ‘Suits’, I was really disappointed when Meghan Markle left the show; but I also became a fan of her relationship with Prince Harry. Now it seems we are getting the best of both worlds. Well, sort of. Meghan is not (yet) returning to ‘Suits’ (although we still hope), she is making her comeback on Netflix. In ‘With Love, Meghan’ we literally and figuratively get a glimpse into the kitchen of the Duchess.

The Tig 2.0

Besides acting, Meghan had one big love before her relationship with Prince Harry: lifestyle. On her blog ‘The Tig’, she wrote about travel, cooking, styling, art, and there were also occasional columns. But as soon as she stepped into the world of the English royals, this meant the end of her site. Two years ago, it seemed for a moment that Meghan would give her blog a new life, but now she is bringing the lifestyle guru within her back to the surface in a different way. In the trailer for ‘With Love, Meghan’, we see her cooking, flower arranging, gardening, and she gives us all sorts of tips; and she doesn't do it alone. The Duchess welcomes various guests in eight episodes, such as her regular makeup artist Daniel Martin, Suits colleague and best friend Abigail Spencer, and chefs and restaurant owners Roy Choi and Ramon Velazquez. And no worries, Prince Harry will also make an appearance.

A new step

The new show is part of the deal that Harry and Meghan made in 2020. Netflix After a documentary about their relationship and series about sports like polo, the Duchess now opts for her first solo hosting project. She debuts as a presenter and as an executive producer. With personal tips and candid conversations with her guests, Meghan hopes to encourage her viewers to let go of perfection. “I have always loved taking something very ordinary and elevating it. We are not looking for perfection, we are looking for joy.” The announcement of the series goes hand in hand with Meghan's return to her personal Instagram, where she has not been active since 2020. Here she expresses her mega-enthusiasm to share everything. We can't wait to binge everything.

‘With Love, Meghan’ will be available on Netflix starting January 15.
