Ciao Milano: Everything we want to wear during Fashion Week

Milan Fashion Week has always been my favorite place to make my fashion heart race, but this year? From oversized tailoring pieces, lots of lace and the see-through effect that you also want to try, to teddy and fringe bags that are back in business. The streets of Milan were a catwalk in themselves and this is everything we want to wear right now.

Oversized tailoring

For all casual-chic lovers: we have taken it to the next level; so cool. Oversized blazers and ‘dad’ suits were the eye-catchers on the streets of Milan. Nonchalantly draped over your shoulders, with an extra wide pant and preferably with a tie around the neck: the more oversized, the better. This tie certainly doesn’t need to be tightly knotted.

Add some see-through

See-through is the trend that we can no longer (and don’t want to!) deny. From subtle, transparent tops to full outfits that raise the mystery a bit. In the latter case, quite daring. Perfect for the December festive month or for a night out, or for those who dare to play with layers and want to add a touch of sexy to their style.

Olive green is favorite

Olive green is the color we have talked about before and if you ask the Milanese, it is out of this list of trend colors absolutely the #1. From jackets to bags, it is everywhere.

Teddy is back

Hands up if you missed the teddy last year. Yes, me too! Fortunately, we don’t have to miss it for long, because this super soft piece is back from the dead. From the coziest jackets of the season to even teddy pants: we are immediately fans again.

We have already talked extensively about lace here. And fortunately, an army of fashion people completely agrees with us: lace is and remains a must-have. From a lace trim under an oversized sweater to a full lace dress that takes you from day (over your jeans) to night.
