Science says: most men cheat at this age

First, let's knock on wood, but I've never had a partner who cheated. As far as I know. I only see it happening around me, which makes my view on love darker by the day. Recently, I confronted someone about it. He spent the whole evening chasing after my girlfriend like a madman. I'm not a very social person; I always keep a bit in the background around people I don't know. So what do I do? Observe. And what do I see? He was calmly texting his girlfriend that he would be home by 2:00 AM with a heart emoji at the end. Dis-gus-ting.
Well, these days it's almost the exception to the rule to just stay loyal to your partner. And both men and women can learn from this. With women, it happens at a younger age, while men feel those urges a bit later. A bit too late.

You would think that men around their forties go through a midlife crisis and suddenly feel the urge to look outside the relationship. Well, you're mistaken. Research has shown that men after their 70th birthday have the highest chance of cheating. Where they get the energy from at that age? God knows.
And that's just the beginning. Once they hit 80, you would think the fun is over. Not at all. 24 percent of men over 80 still cheat, while that number for women at that age is around 6 percent. The exact reason has to do with the baby boomer generation and the fact that they grew up during the ‘sexual revolution’. Now, this seems quite far-fetched to me, but for them, it's a great excuse to explain their infidelity.

You hear it: even if they are old and wrinkled, keep an eye on them. Before you know it, they’ll be stopping by the neighbor's for coffee after bingo.
