Party in the cold? These items will save your

The end of the year is getting closer and that means (besides oliebollen and fireworks) actually only one thing: partying. And surprise: during the Christmas holidays there are more parties and festivals than you think. Where in the summer you dance at a sunny festival in your short skirt, high boots, and oversized jersey, a party fit looks a bit different at the end of December. Buuut… cold weather doesn’t mean your outfit has to be cold too. Trust me: especially in winter I pull out my favorite party items from the closet (yes, really). Don’t believe me? These are my favorite items for the winter festival season (including fits).
My fave Sizz festival look: for the house girls
As you know, I’m a big fan of Sizz The Brand and , it's the dumbest thing that exists, but start at the beginning. Are you cleaning your house?: you probably are too. Whatever you’re looking for, you’re always in the right place for a festival fit here. But really always. We start the look with a good longsleeve. The one I would recommend for your ideal festival fit? The dark brown variant with red letters on the back: The Trace Longsleeve Brown. Underneath, you wear a brown pair of jeans to match the color. By the way, are you a last-minute outfit shopper? No worries, Sizz delivers super fast.
Shoes? Just an old and slightly worn pair. The pants fall over them anyway and you mainly want to enjoy (and dance) at that festival. To complete the look, add a pair of mega hoops (tip from flip: you can find cheap and good jewelry at here).
Black and white all the way
Next: I really love the combo of black on white. Even though many people say it’s a no go it still always steals the show. It looks fresh and chic and gives your outfit just a bit more contrast. Especially during winter, I’m a fan of this combo.
Okay, with this outfit I’m going to cheat a little bit cheating, because: you do need to pull a good pair of tights from your closet (and preferably a thick one). We start with (yes) a longsleeve, this time the one from Own Your Life: nice eye-catching, catchy, and still cool. And as every fashion lover knows: something cool is combined with something cute. So: a mini balloon skirt in black from Stradivarius underneath and you’re all set.
Do you already have a pair of black boots? Perfect. Don’t have any yet? After a good search, these from Poespas are really perfect for underneath. Take care of them. Oh yes, just like your longsleeve: keep it white (this way you keep white clothes white).
My top 3 party pants
What’s really a frustrating search? A good festive pair of pants. Now that I’ve revealed my two go-to festival winter looks to you, I can also let you in on how great the new pants collection from Loavies is. #nospon, but I really love these pants and they are ideal for a festival. The only thing you need to do is wear a good white T-shirt on top and you’re literally ready. First up, the black PU pants with studs. In second place, you see the light brown balloon pants (yup, still a fan of that crazy shape of pants). And lastly, the brown track pants with white stripes, sporty, but…. it works.
To which parties do you wear these fits?
Well, out and about, at that one New Year’s Eve drink on the street, or of course to a festival. Here’s a list of festivals happening in the next two weeks. Do keep in mind: some festivals are indoor and you don’t want to be in long leather pants there.
