You can dye your perfect eyebrows at home for less than a euro

If I find anything complicated when it comes to makeup, it’s my eyebrows. This is also the only moment in my routine where I can’t talk, fully focused mode. Because before you know it, you’re standing there with a cotton swab in hand to correct everything; a hassle. What I do nowadays is dye my eyebrows at home. This semi-permanent option lasts for weeks, and I only need to use a gel to shape them, and voilà, done. Quick, easier, and thanks to the dye I recently discovered from SYOSS, also affordable: a win-win situation.
What does dyeing your eyebrows do?
The eyebrow hairs change color due to the dye you apply. I would recommend choosing 1 to 2 shades darker than your current color. By making them darker, they also immediately look fuller. And more importantly: it looks super natural and lasts well for a few weeks. Of course, due to the sun or a lot of water contact (for example, on vacation), the color may fade a bit faster, but that’s logical, right? So don’t forget to take the compact brow set from SYOSS with you when you travel, because touch-ups can always be done anywhere.
How long does it take?
The brow set from SYOSS makes it super easy, because everything you need is in one package. You fill the container with one gram of color cream and 10 drops of liquid emulsion. You don’t have to weigh that one gram complicatedly, because on the side of the tube, you’ll find thin dividing markings, so you know exactly how far to squeeze for the right amount. You mix this with the spoolie (that’s included too) and then apply the mixture to your brows with the comb (nice: that’s included as well). Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes and remove it with a cotton pad. My tip? Remove it after a few minutes, check if you like the color, and apply another layer if you want the color to be more intense. That’s how I always do it for the best result. Do you find it too dark? No worries, after the first time you cleanse your face with skin/makeup remover, the color often becomes a bit less intense. Any dye that has gotten on your skin will also be removed, making it look a bit less dark.
You can choose from four different shades: dark blonde, light brown, dark brown, and black. For the pros: mix the colors to create the perfect shade. In winter, when my hair is a bit darker, I usually use 50% dark brown and 50% black. Once my hair is a bit blonder from highlights or the sun, just the dark brown color is perfect, and it looks very natural. And that’s exactly what we want, right?
