This is what Roxy Dekker will do on Monday

Roxy Dekker – who doesn't know her by now? Since her viral TikTok hit in 2023 (you know, that fun song she made with four random words from her followers: ‘Anne-fleur vacation’). In just two years, she has catapulted herself from bedroom singer to full-fledged pop star. Her songs are in the Top 50, she performs on the biggest stages in the Netherlands, and she recently released her new album ‘Mama I made it’. Roxy seems unstoppable and honestly: the Netherlands doesn't want to lose her just yet.
Roxy Dekker's schedule is full
On Monday, May 5 (yes, really Monday – don't be shocked) it's that time again: Liberation Day. While you might still be recovering from King's Day with a massive hangover, Roxy is fresh and fruity at no less than three (!) festivals. So sorry not sorry, but you really have no excuse to stay home and recover. Didn't score tickets for a fun festival? No worries, most are free on Liberation Day. You don't want to miss this. But what does Roxy's schedule look like on this day? Let me take you through it:
14:50 in Haarlem: Roxy Dekker's Liberation Day starts early in Haarlem, at the iconic Bevrijdingspop in de Haarlemmerhout. She will be on stage at 14:50 at the Odido Hout stage, alongside names like Bente and Rondé, while Jonna Fraser does his thing on another stage. The festival is completely free and for all ages – so say goodbye to your couch and hello to live music in the park. Read more about the Bevrijdingspop festival here.
18:30 in Wageningen: Next, Roxy travels to Wageningen for the Bevrijdingsfestival Gelderland. In the middle of the historic city center, she will take the stage there at 18:30, along with Douwe Bob, Zoë Tauran, and Rondé again (who are also touring). This festival is also free – and believe us: the atmosphere in Wageningen on May 5 is legendary. Read more about the Bevrijdingsfestival in Gelderland here.
22:30 in Enschede: And if you think her day is done? Think again. In the evening, she heads to Enschede, where she performs at 22:30 at the Bevrijdingsfestival on the campus of the University of Twente. This is the only festival of the three where you need to buy a ticket (€32.50), but with a lineup full of big names like Lil Kleine, Bilal Wahib, Frenna, and RUTY Gang, you definitely get your money's worth. Get your tickets for the Bevrijdingsfestival on the campus of the University of Twente here.
Where it all began
In just two years, Roxy Dekker has positioned herself as one of the most listened-to artists in the Netherlands. Her viral TikTok hit ‘Anne-Fleur vacation’ suddenly brought her massive fame. Then came the songs ‘Satisfyer’ and ‘Sugardaddy’, both achieving platinum and gold status. Just think of what TikTok can do for such a young girl (20 years old).

In 2024, she received both the Edison Award and the 3FM Award for Best Newcomer. Her music is not only well-received by all 13-year-old girls, but people over 20 also casually listen to her music – and it can't be helped, because Roxy's hits are just addictive. She has also performed at major festivals this year and last year, including 538 King's Day, Lowlands (here are the best tips for Lowlands) and The Amsterdam Summer. Is Roxy performing? Then the tent is full.

All about Roxy Dekker's love life
Roxy Dekker and Koen van Heest, known from De Bankzitters, have been publicly together since April 2024. Roxy describes their relationship as “just like a married couple.” She emphasizes that she no longer felt the need to keep their relationship a secret, but just wanted to figure out what they felt for each other. Since the secret came out, you often spot the two together in the videos of Bankzitters, but they are also frequently seen together on Roxy's TikTok account. Roxy seems happier than ever, and did you know that Koen van Heest sometimes performs with Roxy?

In November 2024, Koen (together with Roxy?) bought a designer apartment in – yes – Amsterdam-Zuid, and we can only say one thing: wow. Price tag? A modest €1.9 million. But then you really get something. Read here 10 facts about buying houses. The little palace was designed by none other than Piet Boon and boasts an impressive 265 square meters. Think: three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a kitchen that makes you want to learn to cook spontaneously. In a vlog on Koen's channel called ‘Our Housetour’, he proudly shows the house together with Roxy. Yes, you read that right, the title says ‘our’, which should mean that Roxy and Koen live there together. Although Roxy previously had her own apartment in De Pijp, it seems she has now definitively unpacked her things at Koen's place. In the video on Koen's channel, they casually talk about “our” bathroom and “our” office. How nice is this for them?
