Shocking: so many people are dissatisfied with their sex life

That women do not always reach orgasm is no longer news. Many men do not know how to find the right ‘buttons’, or their preferences are just a bit further apart (like a lot, or just little variation). But now research has shown that not only for women, the sex life is increasingly disappointing. sex life, it has dropped a bit again.

Knowledge center Rutgers conducts research every five years into the sexual health of the Dutch. This also reveals how satisfied we are in the Netherlands when it comes to our sex life. When the research was conducted five years ago, 93% of men were satisfied, and for women, that was 77%. A pretty good score, if you ask me. But the results five years later are extremely disappointing. Meanwhile, that percentage for both men and women hovers around 56%. A bizarre decline! Perhaps it has to do with the fact that we are also having sex less often in our cold little country. Because on average, the Dutch have sex only 1 to 3 times a month. I would also become dissatisfied with that.

The strange thing is that less than half of the people indicated that they are satisfied with how regularly they have sex. So you learn from this: if you are dissatisfied with your sex life, talk about it! Because maybe your partner is facing the same problem. If neither of you starts the conversation about it, you will continue to run into the same issues.
