Taylor Swift must give evidence in Lively-Baldoni case

From legal documents received, the Daily Mail it appears that Taylor Swift must provide evidence to the court. Uh, what? Yes, the artist is being unwittingly dragged into the legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. But what exactly does she have to do?
What does Taylor Swift need to do in the Lively – Baldoni lawsuit?
Blake mentioned Taylor Swift herself as someone she would have spoken to about the work situation surrounding the film It Ends With Us . Those text messages could be an important piece of evidence in the case. Therefore, a judge has decided that Blake is required to present the messages to Justin's lawyers. It could be that those messages contain indications about Blake's complaints regarding the hostile work environment and her accusations against Justin.

Taylor did not want to participate in the lawsuit
Earlier, Justin's team tried to force Taylor Swift to hand over the documents to the court and possibly even testify through a subpoena. Taylor and her lawyers filed an objection against this, and they succeeded. The subpoena has been withdrawn, so she does not have to appear in person for now. However, the judge ruled that the messages must be shown. Although she does not have to show her face, her name remains connected to the case. While it isn't even her fight.

Why doesn't Taylor want to help her (former) best friend?
Taylor and Blake were very good friends. So good that Taylor is the godmother of Blake's children and wrote songs in which she used their names. Not really about the children, but she used the names Inez, Betty, and James in her songs. We previously wrote about how this friendship suddenly exploded, but we will briefly repeat it for you. They were thick as thieves, until Blake (most likely) forced Taylor to publicly support her. If Taylor did that, it would bring Blake a lot of publicity and sympathy. Taylor refused: she did not want to be caught in this war. It seems that Blake was so angry that she threatened to leak personal messages between her and Taylor. Taylor's father informed Blake and her team that she could not do that, and fortunately, it did not happen.

What exactly happened between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni?
Okay, a quick recap: all the drama started when Blake filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department against Justin and his production company Wayfarer Studios. She accused him of sexual misconduct, verbal abuse, and creating a hostile work environment.
Justin denied these allegations and responded with counterclaims for defamation, breach of contract, and even extortion. Not only against Blake but also against her husband Ryan Reynolds. Some of those claims have since been dismissed, but the core of the case is expected to be heard in court in March 2026.
Ouch. That's a lot of drama. What kind of evidence will come from the messages with Taylor? And how would Taylor have reacted? That's still a mystery, but we are secretly curious.
