How much will a trip to London or Paris cost in the Eurostar Sale?
You don't need a discount code or contest for this deal. You just go to the website and choose Paris or London. Prices vary here and there per day, but most days are at the same price:
- €78 for a return ticket from Amsterdam Central to London. This applies to selective weekdays and weekends in October, many weekdays and weekends in November. This trip is already on its way to being sold out, so you need to act fast.
- €64 for a return ticket from Amsterdam Central to Paris. This applies to weekdays at the end of September (22-24 and 29/30), Monday to Wednesday in October, and almost every weekday in November.
Eurostar travel tips you want to know during your trip
- Make sure that when booking departure times, you choose the promotional rate, otherwise you won't get a discount.
- You can upgrade to Eurostar Plus for about €40 per person extra. You will travel with a bit more comfort, enjoying a light meal and drinks on your way to your destination. And win-win: you also get extra legroom.
- The travel time to London is about 4 hours and 17 minutes. And the trip to Paris takes 3 hours and 30 minutes.
- On the train, you can bring two pieces of luggage (as big as you want!) and a small backpack or handbag.
- Did you forget your lunch? No problem. There are drinks, meals, and snacks available for purchase on board.
- Train tickets can be exchanged without charge up to one hour before the original time. So do you want to choose a different destination? Probably not, but just in case, you can. If the tickets are more expensive, you will have to pay the difference, if you think you're scoring a good deal, smartie. If they are cheaper, you won't get the difference back, so it's better not to do that. Oh, and if you cancel the trip? You get €25 back up to seven days before departure. If you do this less than seven days before departure? Then you get nothing, noppes, nada back.
- There are power outlets and free wifi. So even if you want to do some last-minute work, you can.
These hotspots you must visit in London
Did you seize the chance and book a few days in London? Go you! There are so many things you can do here, but did you book a bit impulsively? Then we’ll help you with the research:
- Visit the Electric Cinema for a great movie night. This is the most beautiful old cinema you must have been to in your life.
- Walk through Nothing Hill. Visit the Nothing Hill Bookshop from the oh-so-famous movie. Have a pastry at the Layla Bakery, or eat an ‘Egg, Bacon and Cheese toastie’ on brioche bread at Egg Break. Take some photos for your Instagram: there is so much to do! Can you already guess that this is my ‘favourite bit of London’? Oops.
- Go to the Portobello Green Market for the best vintage finds and good vibes.
- Look for jellycats in the city where they come from. (I'm already jealous because I can't go)
- Walk by Big Ben in the evening.
- Eat scones at the Cheeky Scone.

These hotspots you must visit in Paris
La Paris, then. Of course, there are also places here that you must visit. Or well, must. You don't have to do anything. But we strongly recommend, haha, to include these in your planning.
- Go shopping at Galeries Lafayette. It may be a cliché, but you can definitely shop here if you're only in Paris for a short time.
- Visit the Louvre to soak up some culture, and to pretend you're very interested in art for the Instagram photos. What am I saying? Of course, you find it beautiful.
- Visit the opera, aka The Palais Garnier. And you are in luck, because there are exhibitions and events to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Opéra.
- Skip Ladurée and get your macarons at Hermé. This is where the real locals get their pastries.
- Chic dining can be done at Le Georges at the Centre Pompidou. This rooftop bar gives you a beautiful view and it was where Carrie met Sex and The City her Alexander Petrovsky. So who knows? Maybe you'll snag a man here.
Okay, okay, I could go on for hours about places to visit in Paris – but that will bore you. Otherwise, read our previous articles about the city of love, so you don't have to lift a finger. to find out where you are going.
Now that you know how to book and what to do, we can't do anything more for you. The only thing left for you to do is to book like lightning, because those tickets don't sell out for nothing. Have fun! Or uh, have fun darlings.
