Why Free the Nipple is a particularly good idea
I have always had a bit of trouble with the idea that we need to cover the nipple. I mean, that body part fed us all when we were babies. And why can a man be without nipple coverage on Instagram and we get banned immediately when we do the same? That's just pure nonsense?
That's why I cheer for the Free the Nipple campaign from Hunkemöller. Especially for International Women's Day, they have developed a bra with a subtle embroidery at the nipple location to celebrate the nipple and not hide it.
Hunkemöller even conducted a small survey (yes, I love surveys) which shows that no less than 80% of respondents believe that women receive more criticism than men when they show their nipples. And 29% of women even think that nipples should always be covered... And I completely agree with that. They don't need to be constantly covered, though.
Hunkemöller celebrates women in all their facets. Whether their nipples are covered or uncovered.
