Winter full of Love: I really didn't see this coming at all

Maybe we should give this program a new name: ‘Winter full of issues’. This season seems worse than ever. Every winterland resident has something that makes you think: that's quite strange. Of course, I'm talking about Mike and his somewhat intense mother. But also about Jorik who keeps giving ski lessons instead of going on a real date, and then complains about it because he doesn't find it a fun date. I don't think I need to explain about Maarten. I dare to say that this man only participates in the hope of being showered with compliments about his fantastic basketball past.
Some love has suddenly blossomed
It is obvious that Antine and Mike have an enormous connection with each other right away. They also look really good together, and it's wonderful how down-to-earth Antine is. She is completely herself, doesn't hold back, and isn't afraid to make Mike a little ridiculous. Like when she asks if they will still live with his mother once they have children together. Mike can handle it, and I think Antine is the only one who can deal with Mike's mother. How long will it take for Mike's mother to develop a strong dislike for this woman? I also found it a bit unexpected that Judith suddenly became the big favorite. Maybe it has to do with the fact that she, unlike the others, doesn't seem to have any issues. It's just cozy, friendly, and Judith doesn't have such strict living rules like Jorik and Jan, for example.
But guys, how did Peter ever end up with Jan?
Speaking of Jan: I didn't find him particularly likable when Michiel was still present. But with Peter's arrival, he suddenly turned into a shy boy. Despite Peter being 10 years younger than Jan, he is just a bit more stable and organized than his host. For example, Jan is pleasantly surprised when it turns out that Peter has a measuring tape in his pocket when they walk to a shed to measure the doors. That seems like a pretty logical item to have with you when you go out with such a plan. How Peter ever came up with the idea to write to Jan is a big mystery to me. And he quickly admits that Jan's lifestyle is not for him at all. By the way, let's not even mention Maarten. He has completely missed what he signed up for. Maybe he thought it would be a documentary about his life and career, but to his disappointment, it turns out that he also has to ask something of another person from time to time. He hasn't really succeeded in that so far.
