With this cheap helper, you'll never have static hair again

And it's just in your kitchen drawer

Static hair, I find it terrible. Not only because I have bad hair days all winter long, but also the feeling of those loose hairs wanting to go in every direction except the right one is incredibly annoying.

Why does hair become static?

When hair is dry, it builds up an electric charge more easily. This charge causes individual hairs to repel each other, making them stand in all directions. This often happens in winter because dry air and warm indoor heating draw moisture out of your hair, making it drier and more sensitive to static electricity. Then the trouble begins, because the electrically charged particles stick better to your hair, causing it to cling to your face or hang limply down. It becomes frizzy and is much harder to style.

What works (and what doesn't)?

You don't want to know what miracle products I've bought and tried. Expensive conditioners that did nothing, and the cheap ones didn't work either, by the way. A brush with real boar bristles from the drugstore that was supposed to ensure a soft distribution of the scalp oils along my hair strands, making static hair a thing of the past. NOT. And a brush with those little spikes only makes the mess on my head worse.

The simple solution

But the solution is super simple and just lies in your kitchen drawer. If you run a piece of kitchen foil over your hair, it's gone in no time. No more frizz or sticky hair. Don't believe me? Just watch this video. Bet you'll have a piece of foil in your bag from now on?
