This Zara bag Alexia wore on Princes Day
and all the ins-and-outs of the princess outfits

Yes yes, Prinsjesdag. The day of finances, political plans – and outfits. Every year we are curious about which fantastic creations the princesses have pulled out of the closet. And this year there was something remarkable: Alexia wore a very affordable Zara bag that you can also carry.
Alexia's dress? It's available for you to buy
Yes yes, the fashion princess of the Dutch Royals, Alexia, wore another stunning look. This year no ‘Ginger Ass bracelet’, but golden bangles that perfectly fit the bold jewelry trend. She shone in The Hague in a aubergine purple dress from Solace London. Well, you can take the girl out of London, but not London out of the girl. And folks, listen quickly: this dress with cape you can just score. It is now reduced from £650 to £296. Still expensive, but then you have a couture look.
Her beautiful bun, including a fantastic hair accessory, was the perfect elegant look for today. The golden earrings complete the picture.

About the bag then
In her arms, Alexia carried a bag that looked like it came straight from the catwalk. Is it a Prada? Is it a Hermes? No, nothing is what it seems – because this bag simply came from Zara. Did you hear that right? The Zara. And it's not even an expensive bag from Zara that would cost you your grocery budget for the day: you can get this one for just €29.99. (reduced from €49.95)
It is now just no longer available... But, you can sign up for the waiting list . So go ahead and cross your fingers, light a candle, and do a manifestation ritual: because you want to have this bag.
About the other outfits then. What did Amalia and Ariane wear?
Amalia's golden look
How beautiful she is. Our future queen, Amalia, wore a butter yellow asymmetrical dress that is completely on trend. With the color, draped neckline, and different sleeves, she cleverly plays into what is hot right now. She is also a young girl who wants to look nice, of course.
The maxi dress is a design by the Italian designer Taller Marmo, who is known for his long draping dresses. With all that wind today, it's just not such a practical dress. The long robe and matching cape (with fringe) make it difficult to walk, especially when wearing high heels. Respect.
And for those with a good eye, it can be seen that she has combined this dress with a super cute statement earring. If Amalia knows anything well, it's applying trends in the royal wardrobe.

Beautiful in blue: Ariane
This is the first Prinsjesdag of the now eighteen-year-old Ariane and it shows that we missed her. She did not fall short of her sisters, she rocked the blue. She appeared in a royal blue dress by Victoria Beckham. She did not choose a long cape, but cape sleeves and a draped waist.
And, did that little hat look familiar to you? That royal blue cocktail hat by Philip Treacy? That could be, because it is a recycled piece. Queen Máxima wore it earlier this year on King's Day.
You can get this Crepe dress, but it does cost a, eh, quite a price. For €1150 this dark blue dress is yours.
So. Do you have some money to spend? (Or do you want to save on that amazing bag?) Then you too, ordinary soul, can walk around like a real princess.
