Zara Home is now also doing sports and it’s amayzine

It is Tuesday morning. I am working from home today, so I can hang out on the couch for an hour in the morning instead of sitting on the train to my internship. My first cappuccino with oat milk is already in, and in the meantime, I am casually scrolling through Zara Home. Just because I am looking for a nice vase. But what happens? BAM! There it is. A sports collection. At Zara Home. And not just any. No: where sport, aesthetics, and spirituality come together, there begins the latest sports collection from Zara – in collaboration with breathing coach and high performance whisperer Rob Rea, they are bringing out the new products.
This is the brain behind the collection
Rob Rea is not just any breathing coach – he is the Gucci of breathing coaches. From London, he works with famous actors, top athletes, and musicians. His most famous collaboration was with Keanu Reeves. His philosophy is clear: ”breathing, meditation, and movement are the gateways to a deeper understanding of ourselves,”, he says in an interview with Zara.
Rob's main message? Don't wait to become zen when you're sitting on a mountaintop in Bhutan, but just do it while doing the dishes or driving. Breathe, breathe, breathe.

Availability & must-haves Zara
Some items from the collection are already available - so hurry to Zara - others are still ‘coming soon’. But no worries: you can leave your email address on the site and you will get a notification as soon as your dream gym accessories are up for adoption. Our favorites: The singing bowl (which Tibetans use to calm down). Not only nice to use with friends during a yoga session, but also mega cute as decoration. Furthermore, one of our favorites is the rattan meditation stool - this is where boho meets Buddha. This stool is perfect for relaxing and it is also a mega cute decorative piece. Put a few magazines, along with the singing bowl I just mentioned, on the stool and you're done - this stool fits perfectly in the corner of your home gym. Also not to forget is the foldable leather yoga mat – do I need to say more? Not only is this perfect to take to a yoga date, it also just hangs mega aesthetically in your home. Also high on the wishlist is the ab roller (stylishly painful). For when you can't handle this thing yet: read this article on how to best do the exercises.
Functional and aesthetic: the new sports
In a world where sports often revolve around ‘more, harder, faster’, this collection is precisely about finding a balance between yoga and strength training. Here, there is no shout for attention, but a whisper that breathes (sorry) – and keeps breathing (sorry again).
The exercise bench, dumbbells, yoga mats, and gym racks are not only functional but also mega aesthetically designed.
For those who want to start exercising without gym stress: this is the collection you must have everything from.
Sport & zen, but make it chic
Zara has been coming out with the craziest things lately: its own ski brand, beautiful tables... At Zara Home, you can now shop your entire interior together. Were you thinking about building your own home gym? Well, ask your man to make that one junk room in your house gym-proof and you just take care of the coolest equipment.
The sports collection from Zara Home breathes (yes, sorry) everything you can expect from a brand like Zara. The items look like museum pieces – and are still usable too. Just leave it to Zara Home to make lifting weights sexy. No mega bright orange or green colors, but a wooden, beige, and steel look. If you transform your own home into a gym, you can already look at Zara Home. Then you don't have to hide the dumbbells, but they just become part of your interior.
Home gym ready, but are you?
The aesthetics of this entire collection really screams ‘morning workout’. For the perfect gym routine in your home gym, you start as early as possible. Start your morning with a few deep breaths on your meditation stool – here you will find the best meditation tips. Then roll out your leather yoga mat and start with a short 5-minute stretch. Do you also want to be as flexible as a ballerina? Then read this article. Do you have five minutes left? Grab that ab roller for a few heavy reps. Your core will hate you – but your abs will thank you afterwards. You can spend the remaining time jumping rope (unless you have downstairs neighbors, then). Finish off with the singing bowl. One soft tinggggg and you're zen again. Roll the matching stick over the bowl and you hear a mega calming sound. It feels just like coming back from Bali after this mega relaxing workout in your new home gym. End your routine with a Matcha, and you will become the new Rachel Brathen (see her Instagram).
