Spotted at Coachella: this is the biggest festival trend of 2026

What we think is a second matter, but Coachella is no longer just a music festival, but especially the place where outfits are at least as important as the line-up. And to be honest: I’m watching. This festival season we’re going for something less boho and more fashion. Screenshotting and shopping it is. Which look are you going for?
From low-rise to lace and from skullcaps to swimwear as outerwear. These are the five trends you will see at every festival this summer.

1. Low-rise is back in business

No joke: low-rise is back. Pants that hang low on the hips and show just a bit more than you might be used to. Kylie Jenner showed how it’s done: baggy, casual, and paired with a crop top. Exactly the vibe of this festival season. Once, twice?

2. Mini shorts + baggy top = 10/10

A classic nineties combination that is completely back: mini shorts paired with an oversized top. We spotted it on Lila Moss, Hailey Bieber, and many other festival-goers, in all cases styled with wide boots or sneakers and socks.

3. Skullcaps everywhere

Forget the scarf or cowboy hat, because skullcaps are really everywhere. From basic crocheted black to colorful or dipped in glitter: it gives your look an edgy touch.

4. Swimwear as outerwear

Why wait for the beach when you can wear your swimwear as an outfit?
Bikini tops, swimsuits, and cut-out pieces were massively styled as tops, often combined with low-rise jeans or flowy skirts. Among others, Kendall Jenner was spotted in this, and honestly: it works.

5. Lace & sheer looks

Transparent, light, and stylishly spicy: sheer is everywhere. Combined with lace, you score extra points.
From lace tops to fully transparent dresses: we are fans. And extra nice: you can wear it as ‘naked’ as you want. One layer more or less is in all cases good to go in this beautiful combination.
