Fashion people are already lining up for these Chanel items

Where we were all on the edge of our seats (front row or thanks to the livestream online) during the new fall/winter 2026 Chanel show in Paris last week, at the same time, people were sleeping in front of the brand's fashion houses to get one of the first creations of Matthieu Blazy for Chanel.

Of course, we had seen it coming a bit, but the first collection of the creative director for the French fashion house caused a huge hype in Parisian boutiques. In fact, the situation was described as ‘it was no longer about one specific item, but about getting anything at all’. Bizarre but true. And to be honest: we secretly understand it a bit. The collection is next level cool.

Next stop? The Netherlands then. And yes, here in the Netherlands, all the fashion enthusiasts (yes: guilty) are seriously preparing, just like the Parisians did, to make their very first Blazy's Chanel strike. The items currently at the top of every fashion person's wishlist? Mainly the shoes, with pumps and slingbacks sharing the top spot. Furthermore, of course, the bags, earrings, and the Chanel-Charvet blouse are in high demand.
