If your partner hates skiing: this is how you convince with strength

Many times I have written what's not to like about skiing. A what-are-we-doing-ourselves-all-to-it article. And it is. It is expensive, cold, tiring and there is a serious risk of a souvenir in the form of a plaster cast. So anti-ski types; I get you. But there is also so much to such a week in the snow, judging by my list of pluses.

1. So when are you outside so much in winter?

All day. Muzzle in the sun, wind along cheeks.

2. Do you ever spend so little time on your phone?

Half the time you are skiing, the other half you are on the lift. Not really room for extensive emailing or answering work emails. You don't hear phone calls and, with any luck, there is no coverage at all in the mountains. You really are away for a while.

3. Do you ever go into the sauna every day?

But during your skiing holiday, you can. It's even good for your muscles.

4. Is there another holiday where at least you don't have to worry about your body?

In summer, you might want to cycle off another kilo to make that swimming costume look a little better. But that doesn't matter at all here. Ski trousers, big jumper and hatsa.

5. You can take in unlimited calories

Because you're moving around all day and further I refer you to point 4. Ok, you do go into that sauna naked maybe, but it's steamy there anyway. No human being sees you.

6. You sleep so well

A day outside + exercise all day = good sleep

7. It is the ideal holiday to spend with friends

In summer, you misshcien lie on the beach together all day and irritations are more likely to arise. Here you are all nice and individual and see each other at dinner and in between casually at some ski bar, ideal.

8. You are so nicely removed from the evil world

The mountains and snow make it seem like you are literally isolated for a while and sometimes a person needs that.
