Look of the Day – May
I have put myself on a shopping diet indefinitely and that has two consequences. Maybe three. First, my bank account is depleting much more slowly, but also a reevaluation of my closet and especially its contents, and also a more creative approach to it. It is often said that in limitation the master shows himself, in other words, limitation can also lead to creativity and I feel that now. I received this jacket a few years ago from Lonneke Nooteboom when her Shoeby collection was launched. I actually wore it mainly as an outer jacket, but now I thought that it could also be very nice to wear it as an inner blazer with a belt. Since I couldn't find the perfect belt at the moment, I took this ribbon from CHANEL that once wrapped around a Christmas gift and was too beautiful to throw away and also, sorry, too nice to use for a gift for someone else. And now I thought: I will use that ribbon as a belt. I am wearing black trousers from Marni with loafers from CHANEL underneath and a top from Hanro that is a kind of top and bra in one.
