If there is one interior tip that I, as a passionate home goods collector, have remembered, it is that you should always have a statement chair. One that matches your sofa or that you place in that one awkward corner next to your bookshelf. It doesn't matter where, but it has to be an eye-catcher. And I just happen to have my eye on a gem: the Monica armchair from Cavetown. Just like the namesake influencer, this chair is a hit, but € 699? That's quite expensive. But for every problem, there is a solution, and this time it is called Kwantum. They actually have a chair that looks suspiciously like this chair, but you can get it for a fraction of the price.
The Pordenone Off-White armchair looks very much like the Monica armchair
A perfect Pinterest picture. This is what the product photo of the Monica armchair looks like. You see the chair in a Japandi-style home, with a small wooden side table next to it. In the background, you see trees full of greenery and of course, there is a rug on the laminate floor that perfectly matches the chair. Yes, this screams: you want to buy this chair.
Or well. At least, I would like to place this in my future home. You know, right next to the sofa, as an addition that seems purely decorative at first, but where you secretly sit more often than on the sofa. That's why it actually hurt a little in my heart when I saw the price of this armchair. That sounds like an Italian holiday destination, but fortunately, you only have to go to Kwantum for it. In terms of size and look, they come quite close to each other. They are both eighty-seven centimeters wide and 94 centimeters deep. The Pordenone is just a bit lower. In addition, they both have that fabric, white look.

So if you were looking for a reason to spend your money on this chair, you have found it. You can order the chair online, but it will still cost you € 34.99 to have it delivered to your home. You might as well pick it up. Then you just have to find someone with a big car to lift it to the car and carry it inside at home, but for over five hundred euros difference, I am willing to look sweetly at someone. You too?
