ELLIS does it all

Ellis Faas started her career as a photographer though she soon made the transition to makeup. And as a makeup artist she soared. Ellis doesn’t shy away from Hermès, Gucci, Jean Paul Gaultier or Chanel campaigns. She’s a fashion week habituée (because chef de cabine for a lot of great shows), and worked with photographers like Demarchelier, van Lamsweerde, and Miles Aldridge. And the latter must have undoubtedly inspired her because she’s slightly returning to her first passion. There’s an exhibition of Ellis’s work at Galerie Pien Rademakers on the KNSM Laan 291 in Amsterdam. The exhibition Wake up to Makeup consists of new and old photography and makeup work. Curious?
