8 small things that will change your life
I kind of guard the healthy, sporty and foodie side of Amayzine. And yes indeed, it often happens that I arrive at work after having already run a lap around the Vondel park, having made a green smoothie, had all the scented candles on in my hours and have washed down a daily dose of supplements. Don’t be afraid though, I can also be extremely sloppy and have more than once sat on my couch with a plate of roti, nursing a hangover.
It is extremely hip to say no to a party these days, to go to bed early and to order a Bionade instead of wine. But not essential okay. You can do it all. I do. I’m going to share a few handy tips with you on how to quickly feel happy and healthy. Do these and you’ll benefit for the rest of your life.
Walk outside more often. Especially if you have a job in an office, get out and do a round. Outside air gives you energy.
*
Drink lots of water. It detoxifies your body, you’ll have more energy and it helps fight off snack-attacks.
*
Do yoga. The minute you step into a yoga class, everything else fades away. Total focus on yourself gives you rest and it’s good for your body.
*
Take the stairs insread of the lift. Movement keeps you slim. Logical.
*
Make lots of appointments with friends. Company keeps you happy.
*
Take up boxing. The cure for everything. Happy or sad. A bit of boxing gives you so much power and confidence. And not unimportant, hello abs, hello killer body.
*
Be kind to yourself. Put candles on, play your favourite music, pour a glass of wine and spend time cooking if you feel like it. Don’t be too strict and forgive yourself if you don’t make healthy choices. It’s okay.
*
And finally. Have lots of sex. I probably don’t need to convince you, but it is extremely healthy. You burn calories, lower stress, relax and then especially that peak moment. That makes you happy.
