The great thing about having such a big building is that we have loads of space for new blood. Yvette and Felice, two brand new interns are starting on Monday and we’ve saved up lots of jobs for them. One of those is handing out flyers for Amayzine. And no, they didn’t mind at all. Hopped straight to the PC Hoofdstraat, dropped a stack off at our friends at Shoebaloo, Azurro Due and Brasserie Van Dam. They will be just fine.

As you may have noticed, Liesbeth is crazy about packages. And if she doesn’t get them sent to her, she orders something herself. Whenever the bell goes, she jumps up excitedly and purrs like her cat Disco would. What’s in the package? An extremely lovely jacket from Asos.

Holland’s Next Top Model is really, really over now. Debbie, Sanne and Nicky are busy building their modelling careers and my jury buddy Dirk left for Los Angeles today. To live there. Yes, some people are hit hard by life. I received the most beautiful photo of Aïsha on Times Square as a farewell present. Anouk, if you’re reading this, I have one for you too.

We have our iron wills and steely self discipline to thank for not weighing a hundred kilos. Our neighbour across the way Sven is the best caterer ever. A cheesecake can suddenly appear on our table. From Sven. Or he brings over some rolls with grilled veggies. Sven is seriously the most fun and the very best. I was looking for a cute gift for Claire Slootheer from Iconic Studios because she played at our party, and I thought perhaps a lunch from Sven with fresh juice might just be the thing.

Gift from the boss. New office chairs. Now we’ll never want to leave.
