Aside from the international fashion weeks, the period that we look forward to most of all in the year is without a doubt; Award Season. Endless meters of red carpet dishing up the hippest people of the moment wrapped in fairytale couture and million dollar jewellery – and just as delicious – monstrous fashion mishaps.
These are the moments when new IT-people are launched, fashion designers break through and exciting feuds take place. We can’t wait! And we don’t have to, because the glitter and glamour season is hitting off with the People’s Choice Awards this evening.
Always entertaining, but actually just a warm up for the Golden Globes, the first really important award ceremony that takes place this coming Sunday, and which happens to be the most important indicator for the show of all shows; The Academy Awards.
In-between we have the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the BAFTA’s in London and the Grammy’s as highlights, and quite a few other red carpet specials taking place. Can’t see the award-tree for the forest anymore? No worries. We’ll be carefully studying, analysing and reporting. Here are the agenda points to begin with:

Altijd enig, maar eigenlijk slechts een opwarmertje voor de Golden Globes, de eerste echt belangrijke awardshow die aanstaande zondag plaatstvindt en als belangrijkste graadmeter geldt voor de show der shows; de Academy Awards.
