food that makes you happy
‘Chocolate makes me happy’, is something people frequently say. Understandable, because chocolate releases endorphins into your brain. This substance, homemade by your body, can make you feel happy and give you an overall bliss feeling. This is the same substance that is released when running or working out. There are also other foods that give you that extra boost in becoming a happier person. Here they come:
Greek yogurt
A tub of Greek yogurt can work miracles. Very tasty with a drop of honey, it makes me happy just thinking about it. Greek yogurt contains calcium, which helps the brain to release that happy making stuff. I read it somewhere, really.
ASPARAGUS
Everyone should eat asparagus as they contain folium acids and tryptophan. People who suffer from dips usually don’t have high enough folium acid levels. So start eating.
handful of almonds
This is not only good for your heart and arteries (aside from it being a very healthy snack) but it also helps to make dopamine. Dopamine stimulates that happy and bliss feeling.
coconut
Even if it’s only so you can imagine you’re on a tropical island somewhere. Coconut contains triglyceride, in other words: fats that get you in a good mood. Take an unprocessed coconut and a hammer and a chisel. Hit it hard. Good luck!

I swear by these and take a daily doses. Vitamin D is also in sunlight but as we haven’t seen much of this lately we start feeling a little down so take these drops. I call them lucky drops. It will really help you overcome those winter dips. Honest.
