Dropping an extra few kilos

THESE HAIRSTYLES ARE GOING TO HELP YOU FAKE IT

I don’t know about you, but this Christmas I plan on doing everything I can to fit into my perfect holiday suit, besides giving up on my sweet tooth. I know, it sounds a bit dubious, but I always opt for a dress that helps me hide those extra few kilos. Plus, when it comes to shaping and highlighting my face, I’m quite the pro. Reason enough not to give up on candy and sweets if you ask me. But did you know there are ways to drop those extra few kilo’s by some clever hair tricks? Perfect for the holiday season. So don’t worry, second and third rounds at the dinner table are totally acceptable.

Keira Knightley is known best for this look. Not that she needs the extra attention, but still. When you’ve got an asymmetrical bob, where the front is the length of your jaw, optically, it takes off the edge of face’s shape making it look smaller. Apply some highlighter onto your face and it’ll make your cheekbones pop.

A personal favorite. A bun smack dab on top and in the middle of your head. Seriously though, this is really going to change the shape of your face. No joke. Since it’s position is so high, it’s going to add more length to you face. Plus it emphasizes the top of your head which helps make the shape of your face look slimmer.

Very chic and also very high: the long ponytail. Just like the high bun, this look emphasizes the top of your face. The higher the ponytail, the better.

Wavy hair emphasizes the border of your jawline. And since it’s only a light wave (so don’t over do it with your curler and hairspray) which drapes the sides of your face, it creates a bit of space that makes your face slimmer.

I know that this is May-Britt’s biggest nightmare, but I’m embracing it with open arms. The fringe. A subtle fringe along the side of your face will optically make it look slimmer. But be aware if you cut a bold one, it’ll give your face more of an oval shape which’ll pack on the kilos.
