We mogen Rachel inmiddels de ‘onze’ noemen, want bij haar gaan we meestal door de wasstraat voor we een belangrijk feestje hebben. Ze heeft samen met compagnons Adriana en Estella The Building AMS, een ontzettend fijne haarzaak in Amsterdam-Zuid (waar je ook zomaar Victoria Koblenko en Natasha Poly tegen het lijf kunt lopen). Rachels magische handjes hebben al heel wat internationale modellen betast. Dan zit ze weer voor Givenchy, Rick Owens of Viktor & Rolf in Parijs. Of ze vliegt ‘even’ naar Milaan om het haar te doen van de modellen van Gucci en Salvatore Ferragamo.

No wonder dat Rachel fashion ademt en in trends loopt waarvan wij nog niet eens weten dat ze bestaan. Zo ook weer haar tenuetje van vandaag. Het begint al met haar sunnies, die ze kreeg van bestie Ilham Mestour. De boom trui en sterretjesbroek kocht ze onlangs in een boetiekje in Medellín. Zo ook haar ketting van Cross & Angel. Want die Colombianen snappen het op shopgebied wel hoor, aldus Rachel. De spijkerblouse is van Mango. Haar boots, luister goed want dit wordt een hit, zijn van Balenciaga.

We can call Rachel “ours” as she’s the one we turn to when we have important events. Rachel is our hair stylist and has a client list that holds many celebrity regulars, among them a lot of international models. Her hands have preformed hair magic in Paris at the shows of Givenchy, Rick Owens and Viktor & Rolf. Or she’s off to Milan to work on Gucci’s or Salvatore Ferragamo’s models.

No wonder Rachel practically breathes fashion and lives on trends that we don’t even know exist.
