Happy & Healthy
Last week I introduced you guys to a couple easy and healthy snacks for when you’ve got friends over and are having a couple of drinks. Something different than the regular crackers and cheese. Which still tastes good, but sometimes you’re in the mood for something light. When you’re at home when you can make whatever you’re in the mood for, but in a restaurant it’s hard to pick and choose what you want to get. Something that isn’t heavy and why are there only fried snacks on the menu? I’m going to introduce you to the snacks which still taste delicious, but are light and healthy. No more need to panic.
Try checking out the starter menu too and when you order something, ask for a few extra plates. This way you can share it. A new form of snacks.
Check out the main courses too. Because of the current season, the menu might consist of an asparagus meal. Order a dish and cut the asparagus into small pieces. Great snack with a glass of white wine.
And how about oysters?
Order that plate of cheeses and hams. You won’t need any bread for this one.
Olives are always a good idea.
Sandwich with smoked salmon the menu? Ha! That means they’ve got salmon. Ask for a portion of it, all you need is a fork and you’ll have a great snack.
Nuts. I’m an incredible nut freak.
Oh and to finish it off. Everything on the snack menu is fine. As long as you don’t over eat. It’s the golden rule.
