WHY MEN WHO BLOW-DRY THEIR HAIR ARE SEXY

A while back I was on a press trip with a man who looked quite ‘polished’. A type who buys his shirts one size too small so that you can see all the contours of his arm muscles and who will refuse a beverage because it isn’t a part of his sports regime.

In between all of our activities, we had an hour of play time which we spent pool side. I was with my laptop and a glass of wine, he was a couple chairs further down without a laptop or a book, with a glass of water. And just incase any of us didn’t see how hard he works out in the gym, he took off his shirt. You know, just to upgrade the view. How nice of him.

As a little extra, he would lean on his right elbow as he was talking to the other female colleagues. This way his body would make the perfect curve. He also had a slight tan. I suspect the occasional visit to the tanning salon.

Suddenly the questions ‘should we have another’ and ‘do we have enough time if we have to be dressed and ready to go in half an hour’ popped up. This is something we didn’t consider. And you knew what my answer was. I had already laid my dress out on my bed, quick makeup tweaks and fresh mascara and I’d be good to go.

But mister perfect stood up. “I’m already going to go get ready, I still need to blow-dry my hair.” I almost choked on my glass of dry rosé. “Blow-dry?” “Yes”, he said calmly. “My hairs getting thinner and when I blow dry it, I can camouflage it.” And right there and then in all his honesty, I found him more attractive than all his poses put into one and wished him a fiery date with the prettiest girl of the evening.
