Morning Ritual

My day starts with brushing my teeth, showering, washing my hair, also with conditioner and hair mask, and a good scrub. On my face afterwards a serum, day cream, and eye cream. The skincare from Christian Dior I have been using for years. The whole look and feel of the brand is amazing. I started using it about ten years ago and it perfectly matched my skin needs. In terms of colors in the cosmetics line, they are also very good and fashion minded, you can see that in the texture and the effect of the product. Important for a beauty stylist. Beauty confessions

I usually tell clients that scrubbing twice a week is enough. On the other hand, I prefer to scrub my face and body as often as possible; I do it every other day. My skin is also a bit thicker, so I can handle it. I love peels and scrubs. Maybe a bit too much. My favorites are from Dior, Filorga and Chanel. Also, the Peeling line from Dr. Dennis Gross is delightful. This is always in my bag to look fresh and good in no time.

Eyebrows or lashes

Eyelashes! Both are important, as eyebrows provide balance to the face. But with eyelashes, you can create contours in the face. I personally use nothing; I find a man with makeup unattractive in most cases.

Red carpet essential

You don't see it, but it's certainly important; the primer. This evens out the skin under the foundation, making it look as if the skin has been photoshopped. On the red carpet, a lot of photos are taken, and with a good flash, the skin looks beautiful. Recently, I worked with a primer from Smashbox., a recommendation.

Unexpected Beauty Tool

The coffee spoon. Ideal to put in the freezer and to glide the hollow side of the spoon over the eyes, so the cold from the spoon refreshes the eyes. Then flip it to the rounded side to massage the bags. This makes them shrink. And do you want to get even more out of it? Then you curl your eyelashes with it.

Never leave home without..

A toothpick, Smint (in all flavors), and a stay in hair elastic from Zenner. An elastic that doesn't slip out of the hair once.

Favorite perfume

I have several favorites, but a basic perfume that I choose for certainty and that I can always tolerate well is Chanel NO 5. My grandmother always wore it too; it gives me a feeling of nostalgia. I've been wearing it since I was fifteen, quite a few years now.

Nice beauty purchase

I invest in face masks. Preparing the skin, cleansing, refreshing, and moisturizing is important for good circulation. Every day, people do fitness for the body, but it's just as important to do exercises for the face. Right now, I am following a yoga training to focus more on this in the future.
