Beauty tricks
that actually work
Ketchup in the hair, scrubbing with sand for soft skin, there are plenty of myths and facts that roam in the wonderful world of beauty. But there are a few clever tricks that actually work. Quite worthy enough then.
1. Removal material
At the end of the workday, having no makeup left on your face. Recognizable? Not if you hang over the kettle in the morning. The steaming water opens the pores, allowing makeup to be absorbed well. No need to worry about your look all day long. ‘Cleaning your face in the evening is a must though.
2. Storage example
Painting your nails can be a precise task, but it becomes a lot easier if you simply store the nail polish in the fridge. This keeps the nail polish good and smooth for longer, making application a bit easier. And let's be honest, it looks quite ‘nice’ between the milk and vegetables.
3. Impatient type
To stay in the nail polish vibe. Do you often paint your nails just before you have to leave the house or in the evening? Only to quickly see a smudge or have the duvet pressed into them in the morning. What a waste. Just dip your nails in ice-cold water for two minutes and the layer dries much faster.
4. Potato head
Feeling a bit tired? Cut a potato into pieces and place them under your eyes. Sounds a bit strange, but a potato retains its freshness and you can see that reflected in a radiant look.
5. The tip for radiant hair
Mayonnaise is the solution. Let it sit for 20 minutes and the dullness disappears like snow in the sun, making way for ultimate shine.
