There I was again. Back at the office. On June 20, I left for abroad for the recordings of Holland's Next Topmodel, then I was exactly 1 day at home to unpack one suitcase and pack the other one again to then be on my way to Italy. All in all, I had not been at the office for six, yes six, weeks.

I expected to trip over the packages but that turned out to be quite manageable. Although, after I had been at the office for just an hour and a half, a wonderful gift from CHANEL was delivered. Working is fun.

It seemed like a good moment to immediately reconnect with all my friends in the industry. On Tuesday, I drove with editor Josselin to Rotterdam to discuss the September issue with our art director Lucia there. It's going to be quite a treat. Since I was in the 010 area, I had to meet up with my fashion buddy Fred van Leer. Since Fred is a Rotterdam connoisseur, I willingly let myself be guided to the terrace of The Harbour Club where we enjoyed being pampered in the shade (wrinkles people, wrinkles).

On Wednesday, I started Jet's Vespa (which had also been unused for a month because sporty Jet always rides her bike to work) towards Iconic, one of the trendiest PR agencies in the city. We cried at Claire's wedding video (really, even Liesbeth would become marriage-happy from it) and made nice plans for New York Fashion Week which is already blocked in capital letters in our agendas.

Thursday was a busy day at the office but hey, there was of champagne at 16:30 because our new intern Lillian was celebrating her birthday, and afterwards I dove into the garden of the Hilton with Olcay Gulsen.

The work week was rounded off with a wonderfully cozy dinner in the garden of Ron's Gastrobar with my dear friend Micha Emmering-Krijger, yes, she from Micha Models. What did we drink? Gin and tonic with slices of cucumber of course.

Can this summer please last until January?
