These days. They are meant for relaxation I believe but it means tremendous stress. This week I typed scratches on my laptop to prepare all the posts for Christmas.
I also ran the red insole of my shoes (we have a large office you should know) to pounce on the courier. He came every day to deliver another package. Chanel (annual highlight), Dior (same), a crate with the coolest stuff from ByDanie (mini fondue set, cutting board, great candlesticks, vouchers for yoga classes, healthy nuts, a Christmas package as it should be), Smythson thank you cards from Sisley and each a personal tea mug from Maartje Verhoef.
And now our editorial Christmas still has to take place. We drew lots and because by the time you read this, we have already celebrated it, I can already reveal to you that I drew Jet. The poem is finished, now just into the city for a gift. In the hustle and bustle.
While the program was already quite packed this week (I also have three daughters each with a full Christmas schedule), I made it a bit harder for myself by giving a lecture. In Leeuwarden. In rain and darkness, Twingo, intern Yvette and I set off over the Afsluitdijk. I received a real stair entrance (you know, first walk up yourself and then later descend the stairs to the hall) and got to talk for an hour about how-it-all-came-to-be. Afterwards, the students overestimated a table for Yvette and me covered with a healthy salad and delicious juices. When Yvette pointed out posters and buttons with my name on them, Leeuwarden could of course not be better. A flower and a herbal bitter for the evening and Twingo brought us home.
The latter had a wild week anyway because these days our super interns went out to distribute Amayzine cards. We have them in the Christmas category and just and are on the road. Maybe you will see them one of these days.
Furthermore, we are incredibly busy to give you some escape moments if you are with that everything-must-and-go-as-I-say mother-in-law. We have typed all kinds of tasty bits for you every day so no worries.
