EYE LASH WONDERLAND

Even though this winter the trend is to wear hardly any mascara (naked clean lashes are actually completely), for New Year's Eve we go for grand and spectacular. I mean, it would be quite strange if you stand among all the glitter queens and you haven't picked up mascara or are missing a false lash. So here are the tips to enter the new year with the biggest lashes.

1. Take care of them

You might not need this for Wednesday, but it's a handy tip for the long term. Take good care of your lashes. Use oilor petroleum jelly and apply it with a clean mascara brush, of course. Your lashes will become stronger and eventually grow prettier and fuller.

2. Good tools

You don't want lashes that stick together, clump, or break because this is yet another layer being applied. Therefore, work with clean lashes, not with lashes that already have a layer of mascara on them. With wet mascara, layers work fine, but with dry it's that very bad for your lashes. Also, always curl your lashes dry and clean with an eyelash curler. This gives them a first curl and lays the foundation for the rest. Furthermore, an eyelash comb is also quite handy. If clumps form, you can gently comb them through with the comb and those clumps will disappear. Not that they have ever gone out of style, but in 2016 you see them back in a tight variant. Where in 2015 it was the bohemian braids, now it’s the very tight braids without texture. You also don’t have to take the just like that.

3. The application method

Zigzagging is the code word for mascara. You move the brush back and forth, which not only distributes the mascara nicely but also makes the lashes fuller. This way, you won't get clumps or smudges. Work calmly in layers. Yes, I keep hammering on those layers. You might want to apply a lot at once, but with layers, you get a prettier end result. Don't forget to also get your lower lashes and give the outer lashes at your eye corners an extra layer. That works lifting.

4. More is less

Don't have long, full lashes yourself and don't want mascara to bring the necessary result? No worries. There are still the nep wimpers. So I would quickly put all this in your shopping cart because there are some really cool lashes for sale. Just make sure to stick them well, but with these tips from Leco you don't have to worry about the long night ahead. your Enjoy.
