Food that brings you in the mood

(yes we are talking about sex yes)

Give me a glass of champagne and an oyster and there is a good chance I will get a bit moist from it. Well, maybe it's because it's ‘proven’ and therefore it's all in the mind, but it has something sexy. Especially that combination.

Once, during my Hotel School days, I was serving oysters at a fancy party. “Oh, that always makes me so deliciously horny,” said a type ‘broker with Monk shoes’ when I stood in front of him with my heavy platter. “Well sir, then I will stay very far away from you tonight. Byeee.” Ugh. You understand, with such a guy I don't need to eat libido-enhancing food, but with that one boy that I have a bit of a crush on. Maybe I will order one of these things from the menu. Apparently, they are said to work as aphrodisiacs. Are you reading along?

Lobster

I'm not making this up, but lobster meat contains substances that stimulate sexual energy.

 Oysters

These seafoods are among the most famous aphrodisiacs. In other words: sensual stimulating foods.

 Champagne

After a glass of bubbles, I always want another glass and I quickly get into a cheerful let's-make-it-an-extremely-long-evening mood.

 Peach

I believe that in Asia this fruit is considered the symbol of the vagina.
The herbalist Nicholas described the peach as: “The tree of Venus…….the fruit arouses desires…..” Says enough, I think.

 Chocolate

Especially dark chocolate with a high cocoa percentage (higher than 70%) is a good snack to help your body release dopamine (the happy hormone) during ‘the act’. Cocoa also contains a substance that makes your skin more sensitive. Well, can't it be more beautiful and delicious?

 Figs

Yep, it also contains the substance dopamine. Due to the amount of amino acids, it is also very good for your sexual endurance.
