-Even healthier breakfast-

this is how it works

I'm going to be a bit strict with you. Especially if you sometimes forget your breakfast or are in too much of a hurry, I need to have a serious talk with you. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. No matter how rushed you are, you must do it. Your body is actually like an engine and needs fuel, so in the morning you need to refuel.

If you're short on time, eat something on your bike, but it's better to wake up a quarter of an hour earlier to take the time for it.

I'll give you some more reasons to convince you:

-       You perform much better at work if you've eaten in the morning.

– You stay slim. If you skip breakfast in the morning, there's a good chance you'll get hungrier throughout the day and might end up eating too much at once or snacking.

– You get grumpy from not eating. Not fun for you, not fun for others.

Now you can also enhance your breakfast a bit with some supplements. No, I'm not talking about superfoods like flaxseed, chia seeds, goji berries, and hemp; I'm talking about fish oil, magnesium, and vitamin B12. Not a replacement for your food, but it's a very good addition to a healthy lifestyle. If you plan to buy supplements, do so at a store like De Tuinen or at a drugstore.

Take the pills during or after your breakfast. Make sure you've eaten something first. A few important supplements that are always in my kitchen cupboard:

 Magnesium

Especially if you exercise a lot, this is a very good one. It has a very good effect on the muscles and nerves. It prevents muscle cramps. Also, if you have trouble sleeping, this is a great supplement to take that helps relax the muscles.

Omega

Fish oil is good for the heart and blood vessels. It improves your vision and has a beneficial effect on your brain. All very nice, of course, but what might interest you more is that it helps keep your weight balanced. It is a very healthy fat and keeps blood sugar levels stable (which means fewer cravings for sweets and you stay full longer). Fish oil helps with fat burning in the muscles.

Probiotic

Probiotics are good bacteria that strengthen your gut flora. I also find it very helpful for fatigue, which often has to do with your intestines.

B12

Helps release energy from food.

Multivitamin

The name says it all. A capsule packed with vitamins. Especially now that winter is coming, we could use some extra support. Get informed in the store about what you specifically need, as there are many different ones.
