THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES IN THE WORLD
We leave Vietnam and Monaco behind us and fly on to the Maldives and Perhentian. Honestly, I don't think that's boring, so start with dreaming, saving, and booking.
Perhentian
Asia is hot and the beaches are getting a bit fuller every year. But if you fly to Kuala Lumpur, drive a few hours north, and then sit on a boat for about two hours, you arrive at Perhentian and there are almost no tourists to be found. The beaches are just as beautiful, or maybe even more beautiful than those on popular Bali, but the prices in Perhentian are much more manageable. There isn't much to do, but if you have a snorkel, diving mask, and a book, you have pretty much everything you need. Oh, and a camera because you will definitely want to take pictures of every grain of sand.
Maldives
Oh the Maldives, the ultimate snorkeling paradise. The Maldives immediately capture everyone's imagination. Snow-white beaches, azure blue waters, and small huts standing in the middle of the sea. You don't have to do much more than put your head underwater to see the most exotic and colorful fish. However, you need to have saved up well because everything here is really expensive, and if you want to stay in one of those typical huts in the sea, you should bring a few thousand euros. Expensive, yes, but the memories you make are priceless.
